i have a forerunner 50 watch and I have data from workouts, now what?

I got a garmin forerunner 50 wrist watch that records my heart rate, speed, cadence, calories, time and distance ran. I have about 6 workout sessions of data downloaded to my computer.

What do I do with the data?

Im pretty sure this is just for you to track your progress to see how your speed and time has improved for the distances you run. The calories are just based on your weight and will never change.

Which running watch would be better to purchase: nike or garmin?

I have a Garmin Forerunner 301. Sometimes when I run the distance is way off of what it is supposed to be. My friend has a 305 and his distance/pace seems to be accurate everytime. I am considering buying a 405. I want to know which of the garmin forerunners

"Accuracy" is not a function of the indvidiaul GPS. Their accuracy depends on the accuracy of the time signals received from the satellites (which is determined aboard the sats) and on the math. And they all do the same math.
