Garmin Marine 76cx software help?

I own a Garmin 76cx marine gps. I want to know if there is software where i can attach my gps to the computer and show real time tracking on the computer itself. I have the waypoint manager software installed but obviously does not do what i want.

I going to assume you mean tracking of your GPS on your PC when the GPS in in the field. If that is the case-no. Your GPS is not designed to transmit any kind of signal. GPS tracking devices is a whole different world.

can a garmin nuvi 265 be used as a marine gps?

i have a garmin gps 72 handheld but i cant find detailed marine maps. i also have a nuvi 265 and somebody told me i could get mapsource marine maps for my 265... is this true????if not does anybody know where i can find detailed marine maps of south louisiana

You may go to the Garmin site and search for marine maps for your nuvi 265. I am not sure whether they are available.

The Garmin 72 is a marine friendly handheld. It is waterproof and floats. Have you tried a google search for the particular
