I can't afford a baseball mph radar gun reader so is there anywhere I can go to see how fast I can pitch free?

baseball mph radar gun readers cost too much is there any where I can go in redwood city,belmont,san carlos,menlo park in california where I can use a baseball mph radar reader gun for free to test my picth in mph. Thank you for your help.

When you go to theme parks, carnivals and fairs they usually have stuff like that! I know there is on in Great America in Santa Clara!!

If can check on Ebay, I have seen for as low as $50.00!

How can you caculate a pitchers mph without a radar gun?

I want to know how fast I pitch but i don't have a radar gun. Is there a way to caculate mph in an equation? If you do know how, I pitch 60 feet away from home plate if that helps.

First of all, even if the pitching rubber is the proper distance of 60'6", you are releasing the ball in FRONT of it, making the actual distance the ball is traveling to home plate less than 60'.

The answer depends on details that you did not give us. Are you trying to ask how much the ball slows down between 17 feet and 60.6 feet?

I have read somewhere that a baseball loses about 1 mph for every 7 feet.
