What is better: a TomTom GO 930 or a Magellan Maestro 3225?
My dad has a Magellan Maestro 3225 and I want a TomTom GO 930. He says that he will give me his GPS and I said the TomTom is better. Is that true?
Hate to say it is not as simple as which unit is better more than which unit will you like better.
Personal preference is very important here as to your GPS selection.
What are you looking for in a GPS that you must have and work backwards.
I personally would go with the Tom Tom it is a better unit overall.

I don't care about their price difference
Garmin gives the better directions and fastest routes, and they have updated mapping software. Tom-Tom uses Tele Atlas, which is dependable, but often steers you in the wrong direction. I'd go with the Garmin. You should read this article and then decide.
